Welcome.

I am an EMDR and BSP (brainspotting) therapist. These are trauma and adverse life event centered therapies for those who feel “stuck” in their current lives and are searching for the tools to move forward. I also work as a psychodynamic talk-therapist, blending approaches for a custom approach for each individual in front of me.

I practice from a mindfulness frame, within a holistic mind/body/spirit understanding. I work in collaboration with clients to develop the habits of self-compassion–a bedrock for resilience from shame–and keystone to personal and professional growth. If self-criticism is a dogged presence in your life, this orientation can help. These habits are the product of specific, portable, and repeatable exercises devised together in session.

I treat clients across walks of life, but one focus is in treating artists and creatives, as well as those undergoing life transition, such as break-ups and religious system/ family system deconstruction and reconstruction. Optimizing performance and satisfaction–in creative life, business and athletics–but also across relationships and life experience, are passions of mine. Moving through past and ongoing abuse and trauma are often part and parcel of this work.

I am a practicing writer, actor, and artist, and that creativity informs my work with all clients. I have been a minister in the past; this orientation toward human healing, forgiveness and progress remains crucial to the work I do as a therapist. I am honored to walk alongside others on their journey.

Please feel free to reach out and we can talk free of charge so each of us can discern a fit. I work to make therapy affordable, and have sliding scale rates available. Even if I am not the right therapist for you, I would love to see you find the right next step in your journey.
